Iron Vigil
Privacy Policy
What the mobile game Iron Vigil collects, why, who processes it for us, how long it is kept, and how you can see or delete it.
1. Who we are
Iron Vigil is made by Caprion Games, the studio name of Davit Ghukasyan, individual entrepreneur, Yerevan 0014, Armenia.
Contact for anything about your data: support@caprion.games
2. Your account
You sign in with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
- We keep the account identifier that Apple or Google gives us, so we can recognise you on any of your devices.
- The identity token from Apple or Google may include your email address. The game does not use it and does not email you. With Apple you can hide your real address.
- We never ask for a password, your name or your phone number.
Why: To keep your progress tied to you and let you play on several devices. This is needed to provide the game.
3. Your game progress
- We keep your city, army, resources, level, queues and timers as a cloud save.
- With every save we keep a version number, the server time of the save, a random install identifier created by the game, and your device model (for example “iPhone” or “iPad”).
Why: So your progress survives a change of phone, and so the server can check that a save is plausible and keep the game fair. This is needed to provide the game and is in our legitimate interest in fair play.
4. Time and time zone
We keep your time zone’s offset from UTC, recorded when you sign in. The game runs on server time.
Why: So daily tasks reset at your local midnight, and timers cannot be sped up by changing the device clock.
5. Gameplay analytics — only with your consent
- What is sent: what happens in the game, for example sessions, tutorial steps, sieges started and finished, and things built or trained, each with your account identifier, the install identifier and the time.
- When: only if you tick “Share gameplay data to help improve the game” on the sign-in page or turn it on in Settings. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.
- The default: in the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the tick starts off; elsewhere it starts on. To choose the default, the game reads your device’s region setting and time zone on the device itself. It asks for no location permission.
Why: To understand which parts of the game work and which do not (your consent).
6. Error reports and logs
When something goes wrong, the game sends an error report.
- It contains the technical error and where in the game’s code it happened, the last lines of the game’s technical log, your account identifier, the install identifier, your device model and operating system version, the game version, and the game screen and mode at the time.
- It does not contain your name, your email or anything stored on your device.
- Error reports are sent whether or not you agreed to analytics, because we need them to keep the game working.
Why: To find and fix errors and crashes (our legitimate interest in a working, secure game).
7. What we do not do
- No advertising, and no tracking of you across other apps or websites.
- No selling or renting of your data.
- No access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location.
- Notifications are created on your device; we receive no push token.
- The game does not offer real-money purchases yet. If it does, payments will be handled by Apple or Google, and we will never see your card details.

Where data leaves the European Economic Area, these providers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
9. How long we keep it
- Account, cloud save and time zone offset: while your account exists; erased when you delete it.
- Gameplay analytics: kept by Unity Analytics under its retention rules; we ask Unity to delete your analytics data when you delete your account.
- Error reports and logs: for a limited time, currently up to 90 days.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer you.
10. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the game: Settings → Account → Delete account. This erases your progress and your account on our servers, asks Unity Analytics to delete your analytics data, and revokes the game’s Sign in with Apple access.
- Delete your account by email: write to support@caprion.games from the address you use with Apple or Google, or include the player identifier shown in Settings → Account. We answer within 30 days.
- Analytics: turn it on or off at any time in Settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or receive it to move elsewhere. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
11. Children
Iron Vigil is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, write to support@caprion.games and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
